A new school year has begun, and I am excited to work with all of you in the coming months! Since we will be spending so much time together, I thought I would share some information about myself! This is my second year at South Haven High School. I graduated from Western Michigan University in the Spring of 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and English. During my time there, I was fortunate enough to not only work with great professors, but also work with local youth in Kalamazoo Public Schools as well as Otsego Public Schools. Growing up, I lived in the small town of Mattawan. While living there, I was able to work at a daycare, exposing me to children of all ages. I am so thankful for having the opportunity to teach several different age groups!
Although I love teaching and being in the classroom, I enjoy other activities as well. These include reading, being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on my favorite baseball teams (Go Tigers, Nationals, Reds, and Cubbies)! I look forward to a great school year!
